At Hope Chapel Mililani, we strive to live out our mission statement which is "to lead people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ!" Helping us fulfill our mission statement is our motto: "Everyone Gets to Play!", meaning we all have uniquely and equally important roles to play in God's plan. No one is "benched" here! What a privilege that God calls us His children and allows us to partner with Him in sharing His message of Love to the world.
Our Children
We have a passion to reach the next generation for Christ. Our mission is to lead God's keiki to become fully devoted followers of Christ.
Our Neighbors
Someone cared enough to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with us. It's only right that we pass this eternal message of hope on to others... outside the walls of the church.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Tim Greseth
SENIOR PASTOR
Pastor Tim hails from a small town in Minnesota (Go Vikings!) Growing up, he didn't know God personally and partied hard, living wildly even past his college days. Eventually growing tired of his life in the Midwest, Tim moved to Hawaii in 1982. On a whim one day, he picked up a give-away evangelical magazine and read the "Sinner's Prayer." That night he had an explosive encounter with the Lord and woke up a changed man! He joined Hope Chapel Kaneohe and began serving in greater and greater capacities until he was offered an Assistant Pastor position at its sister church, Hope Chapel Mililani, eventually becoming its Senior Pastor in 1998. Pastor Tim is married to Suki, his helpmate & wonderful woman of God. They are blessed with a blended family of 7 kids and 8 grandchildren.
Terence Chow
ASSOCIATE PASTOR
After graduating from the University of Hawaii with a BBA degree, Terence's friend, Pastor Kelly Hilderbrand, had asked him to help plant a church. Soon after, he found his calling as a pastor and after serving in a few churches around the island, the Lord led him to Hope Chapel Mililani in 2013. Terence's gift is to be a spark plug in the church and to stretch the boundaries of ministry as he and his family step out in faith. Being married to a gal from Texas, Terence and Chiyomi have 3 children, two of which were adopted. They also founded a non-profit called "Better Together Hawaii," focused on supporting families connected to adoption and foster care. On the weekends, he loves playing soccer and music.
Mykel Kojima
YOUTH DIRECTOR
Mykel grew up in Mililani from small kid time and is a proud Mililani High School grad (c/o 2014!). He didn't grow up going to church or even know what it meant to have a relationship with Jesus Christ until he attended a summer youth camp in 2014 that changed his life forever, and for the better. Understanding how it felt to be on the other side, he got involved in Youth Ministry and found his calling to lead young people into the peace, love, and joy that comes with following Jesus. Although Mykel currently works full time at Tanioka's Seafood & Catering, his heart is always on the youth and he feels so honored and blessed to be a part of their lives.
Kristen Skelton
ADMINISTRATOR
Kristen is a local girl, who grew up in Mililani and is a fellow MHS grad. She received her degree in Computer Science from UH Manoa, and puts those skills to work keeping our church on top of the latest technological advancements.
A member of Hope Chapel Mililani since 2010, she was thrilled to be asked to join the staff in 2018 and feels privileged to be part of such a wonderful team of people.
When not in front of a computer, Kristen can be found making craft kits for her side business, concocting something or other in the kitchen, or wrangling her 3 kids and husband, Sam.
