Have you ever been in a fun house with a hallway full of warped mirrors? Isn't it fun to walk through it and notice that each warped mirror distorts the reflection looking back at you? Now because we live in a fallen world, did you know that every single person, whether we like it or not, has a warped mirror in the back of their minds? And if we're not careful, these warped mirrors can tend to distort our reality to how we see God, how we see ourselves, and how we see others. But what's amazing about our God, is that His design and desire for you and I is to journey with Him through every phase of life, as He shares with us of who He really is, and who He has truly called us to be. This weekend, we are excited to begin 2023 with a brand-new sermon series entitled, SIT-WALK-STAND: EPHESIANS, where we will be journeying with God, through Paul's letter, to the church of Ephesus. In our SIT-WALK-STAND series, we will explore each chapter as well as vital themes that God, through Paul, wants us to grasp about what God has done, who we truly are in Christ, and how we can live out our faith boldly and practically in our everyday lives.

When we read the Bible, we all form pictures in our mind of what it must have looked like! But have you ever thought about visiting the Holy Land to see for yourself the places where Jesus walked? To see what He saw, and stand where the greatest stories in history took place? This week, we welcome back to our church Pastor Dale Saito, who just returned from a pilgrimage to Israel. He will share a little about the experience and a message inspired by their visit to ancient Jericho.

As we continue on in this "Let’s Go" series, we are going to look at how people feel unprepared and inadequate to share the gospel. It's like that familiar phrase we hear all the time while we’re on a Zoom call, when someone gets asked to share, and you see their lips moving but we don't actually hear any words being said. And that’s when we use the phrase, “You’re on mute!" And so, this weekend, Pastor Jared will be unpacking from Acts 4 as we look at the importance of unmuting and sharing our faith in Jesus with those around us.
